Which tea is right for you?

MILK TEA (brewed with Golden Tea Leaves)
Need a drink to keep you energized all day? Have lots of things on your "to do" list? Need to pull in an all nighter for the tough crash course exam without crashing yourself? This drink is for you! It's a caffeinated beverage that gives you energy to take care of all those things that needs to get done. Rich and creamy, this drink awakens your senses.
Suggestion: goes great with Boba Balls or Coffee Jelly.

GREEN TEA
Packed with antioxidants, green tea is not only delicious, but also healthy for you. Green tea contains high levels of antioxidants including EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate). EGCG health benefits include helping to lower cholesterol levels and inhibiting the growth of cancer cells. Catechins found in green tea may trigger weight loss by stimulating the body to burn calories and decreasing body fat. The natural light caffeine refreshes your body, mind, and soul.
Suggestion: A smooth satisfying choice, drink daily to invigorate your body.

BLACK TEA
A fully oxidized tea made from the Camellia sinesis plant, black tea has the highest level of teaflavins. Teaflavins are polymerized polyphenols formed during the fermentation process. Teaflavins are found to have a health benefit in lowering LDL cholesterol. It is a refreshing pick me up drink and tastes great with many various flavors. Spend a few minutes to unwind and socialize over a cup of flavored black tea or flavored milk tea made with black tea.
Suggestion: Change it up, try a new flavor each day of the week.

THAI TEA
This tea was developed in Thailand but has become popular all over the world. Sweet and creamy similar to Milk Tea, however, Thai tea has its own distinct spices (vanilla, clove, and cinnamon). The tea leaves are brewed for six hours but it is definitely worth the wait. It is enjoyed over ice or blended with ice for a longer lasting flavor. Bring this drink along to liven up your next lecture. Sip slowly to enjoy its full flavor.
Suggestion: Perfect anytime but goes especially well with a spicy meal. Don't forget the boba balls.

CHAI SPICED TEA
A concoction of black tea and numerous spices (cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, peppercorn, and cloves), this tea is for the bold and adventurous. A common beverage in India, however becoming more popular in western countries. It not only taste great but also has a soothing effect on your tummy. After a heavy meal, it is a great aid to digestion. Enjoy it iced on a summer day or hot on days when you need to warm up your soul.
Suggestion: Not for the faint at heart, only those brave enough should be willing to try.

Bottom line, no matter which drink you prefer, tea is a healthy drink alternative.
